Spencer's background includes over ten years in the financial planning industry specializing in corporate and owner retirement and carve-out plans, individual financial planning, executive benefits, voluntary health programs, as well as setting up catastrophic protection policies (life, disability, long term care) for owners, doctors, individuals and key employees. 

In addition, he led an advertising business in North Carolina and spent two years as a financial analyst after completing his MBA.  His financial analyst responsibilities ranged from creating annual budgets and interpreting financial statements to designing acquisition strategies and supporting new project initiatives for a $50 million company.

Spencer holds an MBA in Finance from Georgia State University as well as a BA in History (Journalism minor) from the University of Georgia.  Also, he served on the the Sandy Springs Business Association Board of Directors, Leadership Sandy Springs Executive Committee, and as President and Social Chairman of his Homeowner's Association.
